Go Susan Boyle - to still pursue a long held dream, against considerable odds, is incredible. The 12 year old, while talented, has not had his dream postponed for decades....there's a lot of room in our culture for talented teen agers. I hope we make room for the 47 year old woman with that amazing voice. I think I like her voice better than Streisand's!

Makes sense to me.
It's just like the powder puff lady who tarts up the guests that appear on Dr. Phil.
I don't think they've made any radical changes to Susan Boyle's look, just neatened her up is all. Now, if they'd sent her in for a facelift or some other nonsense then I'd be really miffed.

I love her new look. I agree, if they talk her into a facelift, I'll be royally ticked. She is who she is.
And I want to buy all her albums. She's got a gorgeous voice.
DDD, I had read that she was "slow" as a child and that's one of the things that made this fairytale-come-true even more heartwrenching. Sigh.
