I have sent my difficult child to a specialized tennis training camp as I believe it will not only help him now but in the future it may help him gain employment. It costs about $1500. a week. The instructors are the best and are awesome. I wish this was tax deductible as knowing a skill that he can use is good all around and fun and promotes his well being now and in the future. I was in a women's discsuuion group and the women were talking about the fact that they wish their kids had more exposure to trades or skill development in HS. As when they are close to graduating they still have little idea of what they want to do.These were moms of kids that are teens.Carl Jung once said a single interest is as or more important to mental health as all the counseling and therapy you can get.
