i was at a lay speaking course last wk and in my class of 9 adults 4 of us were parents of bipolar difficult children!
now obviously i am a believer but what a sign from God that i am not alone and He is with me!
one lady was a former advocate and worked with-the state Special Education before a car accident 8 yrs ago, so she gave me some good advice but was not as up to date in order to help me more. bless her heart she was a foster mom to 19 difficult children! i could have picked her brain for hours.
dinner that nite was almost like being on the board here. the others at our table were left out as we talked ieps, medications, bips, sd troubles and the like.
if we all lived just a little closer i'd say we had the starts of a good support group!
