Ads on the page

I'm not sure if this has anything at all to do with this website- I'm not suggesting it is intentional if it does- but in the upper right side of my screen where I normally get ads for "normal" things, I just got an ad for a link to porn and they were showing little video clips of 2 women together and partially nude women in another. Does this mean some other website hacked my computer? Does anyone know how to make it go away?

Quid me anxia?
I downloaded "Babylon.com" because I wanted to communicate with Esther in Yiddish. I should have asked her first, she doesn't speak Yiddish. How's that for a pre-conceived notion? Anyway, I was mad as Hades because when I did a search for "conductdisorders" the first sponsored site to show up was a porn/sex talk site. I guess I was supposed to feel better about the fact that it stated the girls were 18+!!! There's a trend here...

Tonight was the only time I've seen this pop up on this website- and it's gone now. It might have been a site that hacked the google ad area for a bit.

Yiddish- wow, I have trouble with English. LOL!

Here we go again!
Sounds like you either picked up a bug or, like you said, someone was messing with the site. I haven't seen anything like that on my computer here.

Babylon royally messed up my computer.

I would run your virus program and make sure you have anti-adware/spyware on your easy child.

You might have a trojan. No pun intended.

I got one once that was so darn involved.........I had to completely wipe the hard drive to get rid of it. ugh! Never did figure out where I picked it up. But since I've limited Nichole's computer usage of my computer.........hasn't happened again. *knocks on wood*

She's not always as careful about links she clicks on as she should be. Which is why her brother's had to wipe her hard drive several times. sheesh

I've not seen anything on the sight that shouldn't be there.....someone could've hacked into the google area.....but I'd think Cheryl would've been drowned in posts if that had happened. So more likely you have something on your computer causing it.

Run your virus program, and like Loth said, make sure you have anti adaware/spyware and use them regularly.

Hugs
