Anyone in the Raleigh area?

My aunt and her husband are going to be moving there and we are looking at moving my Grandma up there too. She want's her own place however, so we are trying to find out about senior citizen housing. Is anyone from that area? We are trying to find out all of the options for housing, specifically Section 8 as Grandma is on a fixed income. Currently she is able to care for herself and live on her own but I don't think it will be that long before she will need some assistance. Is there any place that has independant and assisted living all in the same place? Any suggestions will be greatly apreciated.

OTE and Genny live in that area. Im about two hours away. I think oceans is in that vicinity too.

Section 8 would most likely have a waiting list. Check out http://www.ncgov.com and look under senior citizens or housing or something like that. Call them and Im sure they can tell you things. I know that all the assisted living places and nursing homes are listed someplace on there along with their ratings.
