Focalin XR

difficult child's psychiatrist has started him on focalin XR. He was on Adderall and I hated that it made him really agitated and moody and he was grouchy. psychiatrist said that Focalin is made differently and is less likely to cause moodiness and agitation. Anyone have positive experiences with Focalin?

My son (16) had the same reaction. He started Focalin (XR) last month. No mood swings, no big crash at the end of the day. His doctor. just increased his dose to 15 mgs. (Junior is a big kid--6'2")

So far, I like it. Now I just have to inspire him to DO his homework...
