G'day, folks.
We had a bit of sunshine out today. Sydnry has been a bit waterlogged over the past few days. It's good news for the dams and the gardens, but there has been some storm damage in places. Thankfully we weren't affected by floods - the road did flood, but not at a time when we needed to go that way. Despite the rain, it's still been quite warm. And very, very humid.
I took mother in law to the local doctor this morning, then after she got home, a lot of the disability aids ordered for her arrived. She was not happy to have her "house turned upside down" by it all but it's all needed, plus it's a compromise so there's no need to instal rails into the walls, etc.
After that, I grabbed a bit of early lunch then had to head out "to the mainland" to see a couple of my specialists. I ran some other errands while i was out, only got back home about half an hour ago. I've started dinner preparations, I promised mother in law I'd make prawn satay for dinner tonight. It's quick, easy and very tasty. I'll need to fix something else for difficult child 3, he won't eat prawns.
We'll be heading down to mother in law's to cook dinner in about half an hour. I'm just about to go and chop some vegetables. I still need to unpack some shopping, but I only did a little. It is much easier now there are so few of us in the house.
Tomorrow will be warmer and sunnier. Physiotherapy in the morning, then difficult child 3's drama class (outside again) in the evening. I'll probably need to drop in on difficult child 1 tomorrow. I would have done it today but I was running so late - doctors never seem to be on time!
Enjoy your Monday.
