I've been out of work since January 9th, the date of my knee surgery. Today I return to work...and I am not completely ready, but I can't afford to extend my disability (mainly because aflac denied my supplemental claim, bastids) and apparently, the office has gone to hell in a hand basket this past couple weeks. The bookkeeper in particular is being a real pita with me. That's another story.
My plan is to go in, take a break for my midday PT and then cut out early. It's just too much to sit all day, even if I get up and walk every half hour like I'm supposed to. I have the flexibility to pull this off, and, my brother in law will not be in the office today. I'm going to try and attack the most pressing issues and prioritize the rest in order of importance. I've been fortunate enough to be able to log in during my absence so all my emails are up to date at least.
So please wish me luck! I'm bringing my medications and ice pack with me so I can at least try to control the discomfort. Thanks!
