None taken. And I agree with husband's description.
I'd have to go easy on the alcohol plus I agree about artificial flavours. But I have bottles of my home-made strawberry sauce, that should go well as an additive. When we get to winter.
But as we move to winter and you move to summer, let me share with you husband's latest concoction - one part Midori, one part coconut-flavoured rum, two parts pineapple juice. Freeze it. Then serve the slush in a large martini glass. In Sydney at the moment there is a trend at our musical theatre performances, for these sort of cocktails to be sold to the audience, in colour-changing martini glasses. You get to keep the cup. Rocky Horror Show (last Sydney performance) was spectacular, with loads of these things flashing all round the audience but still not able to compete with what was on stage. But when we went to Wicked a couple of weeks ago, we were told to turn off the cups during the performance.
But those drinks - not as alcoholic as you would think. Very yummy, very thirst-quenching. Great for a summer cool-down, and the day we saw Wicked, it was 41 C (106 F) in Sydney. Lay some more crushed ice on me, baby!
