Just watched "Singing Bee" and Joey..

A week ago or so somebody posted about the two new singing shows
and I commented that although my husband and I really like Joey, the
one time I watched his show..it just didn't turn me on. Well, I
just sat and watched every second of the show tonight. I still
can't say exactly "why" but it just doesn't work.

Is it because too much is crammed into 30 minutes? Is it because
there are too many hyper personalities back to back? Is it the
live band and the dancers and the changing vocalists that make it
seem chaotic? Sad to say that I don't know. I know we still like Joey but even he seems "too too" something or other. Fingers
crossed that the experts will figure out how to fix what's broke...whatever to heck it is. DDD

There is definitely too much, too fast!! I think it could be an hour show, same with the Wayne Brady one.

Yeah, I agree - I think it feels "crammed". It's almost manic at times - and it's so rushed, it makes it feel like a "B" game show. Hopefully they work out the kinks and maybe tweak the format a bit.
