What an interesting observation. You may be onto something there. Sexuality and sexual preference can be a fluid continuum in the most stable of adolescence. That one may need to be teased out in therapy as time goes on.
I have a male friend who recently became my female friend and was quite astonished after going through therapy that she preferred women. It’s complicted some times.
