Could you kind folks please tell me what exactly the 12 hours of intensive assessment of the neuropsychologist consists of so I may tell husband. He refuses to do anything if it entails medicating my daughter for these tests.

The evaluation involves cognitive (IQ tests), achievement (educational tests), psychological, motor, etc. A neuropsychologist will sit with your daughter to do a lot of paper-and-pencil and motor activities to assess her cognitive and psychological functioning. The assessment involves no medication.

You should also tell your husband that the sleep-deprived EEG involves no medication either.
