I agree her comment was something more than tacky, I'm sorry anyone would say something so insensitive to you like that. Even if you know she's got some issue with appropriate boundaries, it doesn't make it any easier to hear some lousy comment like that, as if anyone can know the depth of yours and H's relationship, she's got a lot of nerve. Sounds like something my mother in law would say-shes always coming out with stuff that just stops you in your tracks, it can be so shocking and distressing. Hugs.
