The Chandler Papers are a collection of pamphlets written by pediatric pyschiatrist, Dr. Jim Chandler.

Dr. Chandler is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is an Associate member of the Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. These pamphlets were developed by Dr. Chandler out of a need for accurate, unbiased information on common pediatric psychiatric disorders. Although they were meant to address the specific cultures of western Nova Scotia, a predominantly rural area in eastern Canada, the information contained therein applies generally to all areas.

These pamphlets describe the diagnosis and treatment of common child and adolescent psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Bipolar, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Tourette's.

The pamphlet Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder is one of the most comprehensive reports on ODD and CD, you will ever find. It includes causes, diagnosis, prognosis, strategies, co-morbid conditions, and medical interventions. It is written in an easy to read format with questions and answers and case studies used as examples. This report is essential for parents of behavioral disordered children to read.
