Finally found time to upload, download and mess with the videos that husband took during the Dance Showcase.

The first 2 are of me and my tiny perfect dance teacher doing the cha-cha and salsa
The 3rd one is me with Pierre, the insane head teacher from the studio, swing dancing
(honestly, I thought I would go FLYING the first time he spun me like that. He did NOT do that in rehearsal...I just kept smiling and hung on for dear life!)


I had so much FUN!
(For a terribly shy, introverted Aspie, I think I managed pretty well)

Thanks everyone!

Y'know, it's strange...during the dress rehearsal, I was so nervous I was shaking. I tripped, stepped on my teacher's feet, missed steps and was a total mess.

So when it came time for the actual competition I was terrified. But when the music started, it was as if the crowd disappeared and it went quiet except for the music. I was able to forget everything and just enjoy the dances.

Just catching up and I saw this!!!
K and N were sitting here and K said, "Oh my gosh, she is beautiful!" She then started dancing around the room.
I am so jealous! I went dancing two weeks ago in Idaho, with me Dad and Brother! It was so much fun, but I think I looked more like Elaine on Seinfield than you!!!
Great job, and yes you are beautiful.
