The Kings English - verbal pet peeves

OK, this drives me nuts:

"old fashion". As in old fashion lemonade. It's old fashionED.

"whip cream". It's whippED cream.

"save 30% off!" No, you either save 30%, or you receive 30% off. Gaaah.

Libary (instead of library), pitcher (instead of picture), punkin (instead of pumpkin), acrost (instead of across), Winsconsin (instead of Wisconsin), and the WORST is "ellinoy" or "illinoize" for Illinois.

OK, now this is not a mistake people make, this is just some words I hate. Wasp, lisp, wisp...especially plural. Whose idea was that.

Prune is the funniest word in the English language.

Sorry Loth, I think we Chicagoans cornered the market on youse guys. I hate it too.
