Again karisma, thank you for posting these articles. It has been a lonely journey, lots of guilt, lots of anger and shame and hope. It was healing to read both articles, and to recognize myself there. Sorrow was a good word. The children feel sorrow too, for their parents, for the loss of what might have been.

Wow, excellent article. I see myself in many of those descriptive paragraphs. Wavering between hope and despair, giving up our dream for them as we imagined, phone terror, on call duty for dependence and security, becoming hardened and becoming stronger in order to accept son's life and live my life.
