Has anyone else seen the Colgate Total commercial with Brooke Shields where she talks with her dentist?

I must have seen it 10 times already over the last few weeks.

The dentist is "Joyce" and her real name is only on screen for a couple of seconds. It is kind of ironic, in my opinion.

The dentist's name is Dr. Joyce Fang.

    I kid you not. Fang.

Makes you wonder if they made it up, but who would think of making that up?

My chiropractor was named Dr. Hand. I always got the biggest kick out of that.

In high school, our Home Easy Child teacher was Mrs. Crumb and our Horticulture teacher was Mr. Fern.

My first knee surgery was done by a Dr. Metzger, which is German for 'butcher'. Despite his name, he did a good job of piecing my knee back together.

Doctor names I have known - I had my appendix removed by a Dr Ham. I knew a medical student with the surname Kneebone (I'm not kidding). we used to kid him that he should specialise in orthopedics. And difficult child 3's surgeon who removed his ganglion was a Mr Bean (surgeons here are called "Mr").

difficult child's Hand surgeon was Dr. Hurtz - hahahah. I remember rethinking that one, but he was a good pediatrician surgeon after all!

Our old dentist's name was Dr Keefe, but when the girls were little they misunderstood and called him Dr. Teeth! Hahaha
