My difficult child did not have any heart problems on concerta. What it did is caused him not to be able to rest at night, he lost his appetite and would not eat except in the morning, and made him aggitated and overly aggressive and violent. It was a quick trial of that at 18mg and he was off after 2 weeks. It did, however, improve his concentration and hyperactivity in school.
