Hospital no help

difficult child was released from the hospital today. Within 5 minutes of being home, he was back to his regular self. All the anger and threats back.

I don't think the hospital helped him at all. Sure, I got a nice break from the constant aggression, but now it's all back.

He meets with his probation officer tomorrow and someone from the outpatient place on Wednesday. Hopefully one of them will have some help for me.

I'm so sorry, AnnMarie.
Frankly, when I saw your subject heading, I thought, "So what else is new?"
So many of these hospitals don't keep the kids long enoughto be of any help.
I truly hope his probation ofcr or the outpt person will be of some help.

I understand how you feel, this happened with my kids sometimes. The onlything I cansay is that if your difficult child becomes threatening or suicidal, do not hesitate to callcrisis even if it's within days (hours?) of a discharge. My difficult children sometimes ended up back in within days.
