Apparently, each kid in Skip's class has a week during which they are the MVP. They do jobs like pass out papers, line leader, calendar, etc.
Yesterday, I received a folder with letters written to him by all his classmates. I won't bore you with the details but most of them said he is "funny," "cool," "fun," "good at math," or (my personal favorite) "my beast friend."
It was interesting to see that most of the kids really like him. He is still incredibly difficult to like most days at home. I sent him to bed early just one night ago for saying, "I hate you," to me repeatedly. I can see him maturing, but it's a slow process.
