i just called ins co. and they do not cover

neuropsychologist evaluations or sensory interrogation. We pay 300.00 a month for anthem BC/BS. WhY?

It is a shame but most insurance do not cover neuropysch. Even on Medicaid, ours children can only have a neuropysch while inpatient.

My insurance didn't want to pay so I told them that it was the only doctor able to apply the proper test and that it went along with his Tourettes so they agreed to give me a 90 day pass.You could try something along that line and see if it works.I have Gret West for insurance and they are a large group.

We have blue cross/blue shield (federal employees program) and it did cover the expense. Maybe there is a certain way that your doctor must request it to get the approval??
