Last nite on the 11:00 news health segment they had a story on autism and how they have found Risperdal is helping . There was a family with a little boy who was severe and with Risperdal he is now communicating and making eye contact and not raging. This could help alot of families with autistic children.

I have heard alot of kids on the spectrum are trying atypical antipsychotics to help with things like hyperactivity, impulsivity and raging. The Abilify that Dylan is on is more for the Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) stuff than the BiPolar (BP). psychiatrist had told me before that Abilify was used alot in Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) kids, too.

Good they're spreading the word.

I recall seeing the promo---it is under their health section.
