Interesting Article on How Schools Handle Children Differently Based on Race

I found this article interesting but glossing over the reasons that cause schools to handle white students one way and black/latino students another way.

This is NOT meant to be a racially divisive post. I think the article left some of the causes for the differences until very late and I think they glossed over some of the reasons other than teachers'/administrators' perceptions based on race. I am very sure that the perceptions on the teachers' side are part of the cause, but they are not the only cause.

What are your thoughts?
