difficult child#2 called me last week to babysit. I told him I was tired and didn't want to do it but it was 7 o'clock and he promised me he'd be home by 8:30 so I figured it would be OK. He finally showed up at 2:30 A.M.!!!!
While I was sitting there growling and feeling sorry for myself, granddaughter (age 4) says, "Maybe you're depressed." She proceeded to spout, word for word, the commercial on TV about depression. I told her, "No, I'm not depressed. This is what mad as hades looks like." So now she'll have a new word to use on mom and dad.
