question to Yahoo users

I have been noticing that names that I add on to my Yahoo messenger are automatically going into my Yahoo address book and I don't want that. What setting do I need to tweak? </span></span>

I've been looking and so far haven't found any way to do this. I'll keep looking though and see if I can figure it out.

never really paid any attention...as a matter of fact, it has been about 2 or 3 months since I Have been able to get Yahoo to even LOAD on my computer at all....not sure if this is my problem or theirs, but everything else on the internet works FINE. I even had to get a new email account in Hotmail because I can't even check my yahoo email.

I asked around in a couple of other groups I'm in. I was told that when you add someone to your messenger list, there is supposed to be a box you can check or uncheck in regards to adding that person to your address book. It's been awhile since I've added someone so I can't say that I remember this but that is what I was told. Hope that helps!

When I add someone to my list it asks me if I want to add them to my address book.
