Regional Spelling Bee!!!!!

thank you made it to the Regional Spelling Bee!!!!!

Neither husband nor I had any idea he was in a spelling bee at school to begin with. Turns out he was the first alternate but someone dropped out. The librarian found husband when he went to pick up thank you.

It was supposed to be on Wed, but we were forecasted to get a huge storm and they cancelled it this morning. It is now going to be on Feb 9.

I am SO THRILLED for him!!! He is pretty excited, but the list of words is huge, lol!!

I am just thankful that husband picked him up = otherwise who knows if he would have told us. He forgets to bring stuff home from school, a function of being 11.

I soooo hoovered at spelling bees. lol I have never been able to spell out loud worth a darn. If they'd let me write it down, I was fine and a good speller.........but never out loud.
