is the school responsible for accomodations or help in a suspected disability while waiting for the evaluation process if the parents request immediate accomodations and or help in the suspected disability while waiting for the iep process. if yes is there law to back this up?

Good teachers accomodate in one way or another for many students that do no have 504s or IEPs day-in and day-out.
IDEA precludes a sd from providing special education and related services until a student is eligible for an IEP, but most sds have some type of intervention program. It's not unusual for a sd to want to try interventions before referring a student for IEP evaluation.
