Summer School

Well, we just found out that difficult child has to go to summer school for the whole month of June. Then he retakes the TAAKS test and maybe will get into 6th grade -- but we won't know until about a week before school starts.

Any advice to keep him motivated through this and help him pass? Also, he is a little down that we won't know until the end of summer. We tried telling him this all year, but you all know how they are! :rolleyes:

I'm sorry about that. I know the feeling. I just got an email from difficult child's SS teacher telling me that she's failing his class right now and may not graduate in June...summer school and a no fuss graduation in August. She has to pull a really great grade on her final next week or else. I'm so disappointed, as you must be.
