Went to Target today and I decided to pick up a couple of picture frames and found a neat stained glass picture in a silver frame- we went there so difficult child could use a gift card he got for birthday.
Anyway- going through the line, the cashier (probably 17 yo male) looks at the stained glass in silver metal frame and immediately starts commenting on how he could spend lots of time looking at it- he likes shiny things-
I wanted so badly to say (and almost blurted out without thinking)- "Oh, You are a difficult child, too! Nice to meet you!"
But, alas, I bit my tongue and just smiled and said "thank you, I think we'll like looking at it, too!"
It's so nice to know you've met a friend wherever you go!
