Another something that makes me feel old at times, is the number of years that I've been driving. Stared driving at age 16, so been at it now for some (almost) 40 years now!
Been out of school now for nearly 40 years, too!
The diapers (cloth) I raised my kids in. Oh my word. The checking... the changing. Dragging rubber pants down and up my kids legs... unlatching safety pins... the folding... the toilet dunking and soaking... the stinky plastic diaper pails... the washing machine (which I felt tied at the hip to)... and the endless cycle of hanging diapers on the line and taking them down! All while watching fellow neighbourhood moms arriving home on shopping day, walking packs of Pampers and Huggies into their homes. I was the last mother in our neighbourhood still doing old-fashioned diapers.
