Asking for prayers, good thoughts.........

Last week my granddaughter, who is away at school, went to the Doctor because she was tired and had fainted a couple of times. She thought she had mono. The Dr. was very concerned about the fainting and immediately sent her to the lab for blood work and she had an electrocardiogram. She has to see a heart specialist and a neurologist. Of course, I am worried.

If it feels okay to you, could you send out a prayer, a good thought, some positive energy? I've seen the energy on this board work miracles........

Thanks so much.....I'll keep you posted.....

Sending hopeful thoughts.

Sometimes it's anemia - and resolved by taking prescription iron supplements. Not unusual in young women.

Oh, dear. College students do not take care of themselves.
A friend's daughter had that happen and the first thing the dr asked her was, "Are you pregnant?" She was so mad!
Turned out she has an aversion to blood and she was freaked out in anthropology class.
I hope that your granddaughter's issues are that simple, but since the dr ordered those tests, it sounds scary.

Oh RE that is scary.. and I'm sure not being able to be there in person makes it even more worrisome. Sending prayers and good thoughts that way.

I will most definitely keep her and you in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm glad her Dr. is having tests done. I would rather have an over cautious Dr. than one who thinks it's nothing.

Let us know what they find.

Sending you ((HUGS)).

Thank you everyone, it's heartwarming and comforting to know you are all there...........

All I know at this point is that she doesn't have mono and she does have a minor sinus infection. She has appointments next week and after with the heart specialist and the neurologist, so I'll keep you posted down the line.

In the meantime, your prayers and wonderful thoughts are so appreciated......
