Hi,
The standard approach is short time outs where there is no communication , one word per age , and special Time in meaning plenty of praise in the hope the kid will learn the bad behavior means he will miss the fun and good behavior means lots of positive attention. Time outs unfortunately can stress a kid out further , also we are not focusing on learning positive alternative behavior
