Hi Shari--

Thanks for asking!

3 out of 4 feet are now doing well. The fourth hoof was trimmed waaaaayyyyyy down - the heel is extremely low compared to the other feet. It actually looks as though the rear part of the frog is missing. He is not limping, but he doesn't like that foot being handled much...and certainly not brushed off.

The owner and stable manager seem unconcerned at this point...

All I can do is watch and be gentle with him.

IsItFridayYet?
Well, Starbie, he DOES need to lay off the krispy kreme, BUT his feeties problem sounds like it was cheap idiot induced.
why don't people like THAT get difficult child's...?

You mean to tell me this is a FARRIER induced problem?

The owner wants to save money by having the horse's feet done less often - and so told the farrier to trim his nice, healthy hooves EXTRA short. And the farrier agreed to do it!

I am just furious...

but sadly, this is not my horse and so there's not much I can do...and the owner, farrier, and stable manager don't see any problem.
