I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with my knee. Some days it is perfect and there is no pain at all. Other days I feel like my knee is out of joint (the only way I can explain it-I don't think it is literally out of joint). It seems worse when I get up from a laying position-actually having to put my leg in a straight position hurts like crazy. Getting from a sitting to a standing position hurts as does going from a standing to a sitting. Walking up and down the stairs hurts.
The weird thing? This morning it was hurting like crazy. Literally when I changed leg positions in bed a couple of times I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle the pain, yet I decided to try boot camp (I won't over do-if I had pain I would stop). I was able to do boot camp-some jogging, a bit of sprinting, sideway shuffling, a few core exercises and some arm weights. The pain all but disappeared (I did take 800 mgs of ibuprofen before I went).
Any idea on what this could be? There doesn't appear to be any swelling but at times I've iced it a bit-helps a little. I haven't gone to the doctor because it never seems to last more than 1 or 2 days at a time and because I am not in constant pain. The thing is when it does hurt it is a horrible pain that I would rate a 9 or even a 10 at times. I
