difficult child stood in front of her class and gave her current events report. This is optional and for extra credit. Today is the first time she has ever stood in front of a class and spoke. The teacher sent me an email just dripping with pride. (I love this teacher.)

That was the second good thing today.(See spec. ed. forum for other story.)

Thanks all. She came home all proud of herself and asked if she could make an Easter cake.(Her special interest).

So, today she gets to take all the time she wants to make her cake just how she wants it.(I love being able to do rewards.)
