I don't know how adoption agencies get away with placing older children without informing adoptive parents about all the risks involved. Now all the people who have put up pictures of their waiting children on their fridges might get a heartbreak. We got easy child from Russia. She is a blessing. If this adoptive mother had done this back in 1996, our beautiful daughter would have been transferred from orphanage to orphanage until she reached 18. On her 18th b'day she would have been put out on the street.
I feel so very sad for all the waiting families.
