It's called "mittelschmerz"

Both GN and Marg are right. And it's extremely painful. Extremely.

We had to learn the term mittelschmertz for medical terminology. Our instructor said so many women suffer from it and yet don't even know what it's called.

And I went AHA! So that's what's been happening to me every month for years! Didn't stop until menopause. I have very cystic ovaries. Unfortunately, Nichole seems to have it too.

Thanks guys. Sorry I haven't replied, but I have literally been down for the count for 2 days. You know it's bad when I don't post on the board.

This is the worst I've ever had it and the longest. I tried to go into work yesterday, but lasted all of 33 minutes. I'll attempt again today. There's not much you can do but take some pain medications (which I don't have), or Ibuprofen and wait it out. I feel like a bulldozer has rolled over me again and again.
