Going Green
And I want to move there! It is incredible!!!! I had an absolute blast and really didn't want to come home. I kept hoping that my airline would go under while I was there.
I took some pics but you should know.....there are a couple that are either between PG13 and R or just flat out R. One in particular (on page 3 is labeled Couldn't Not take it .....or something.) You can't really see in the thumbnail version but it is a woman in a thong who really shouldn't have. I didn't take the picture to be mean but it was like one of those things that horrify you but you just can't seem to look away. Also, there are pics of various people with a t-shirt. I got the shirt here at a bar when they had an activity. The shirt isn't technically obscene but it is sexual in nature and could possibly offend.
Also, there will be a couple that you won't "get". On my other groups, we were talking about all of these feet (in shoes) that keep washing up on shore in Vancouver. I was getting warned to come back with both feet, yadda yadda. One of the beaches we went to had a shoe just lying on the beach. Nothing was in it (we checked) but we HAD to take a picture because of all of this.
Also in regards to the pics......hehehehehe......I didn't see Raoul but would a Claudio do?
Star and Susie......I didn't see any t-shirts but there are a couple of pics in there for you. No moose poop either but I SWEAR that the tiny plane I took for the first leg of the flight.............had bird poo on the back of the seat in front of me.
The area up there is just beautiful. I've never seen anywhere else where you can be on a beach, turn around and see a pine forrest. The range of possible environments in such a small area is just wild.
OH!!! We went to this ice cream/gellato place that has 212 different flavors. They had your normal flavors, some interesting combos and then there were the gormet flavours. Roasted garlic, basalmic vinegar, fennel, corn, lavender, asparagus.....stuff like that. I tried the corn but that didn't turn out to be such a good mix.
Anyhoo....I had a BLAST and can't wait to go back!!!!

Then I took a completely different way back down to the border and never did find out for sure.
